A vacancy is announced for the position of an Assistant to the RTA (Resident Twinning Adviser) within the framework of the international Twinning project “Reforming the Regulation of Audiovisual Media in Ukraine in Accordance with EU Standards and Best International Practices.” The Assistant will support the RTA in matters related to coordination and management of the Twinning project.
The RTA Assistant will work full-time throughout the entire duration of the Twinning contract.
The position (place of work) will be based in Kyiv, in the premises of the National Council.
The Twinning project “Reforming the Regulation of Audiovisual Media in Ukraine in Accordance with EU Standards and Best International Practices” is an EU-funded project that will be implemented by a Consortium of EU National Regulatory Authorities (NRAs): Italy – the lead Member State, and France, Greece, and Germany – the junior Member States.
The overall objective of the project is to enhance the effectiveness, transparency, and coherence of media policy in Ukraine by aligning it with the EU media legal framework, and to strengthen the independence of the National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting by reinforcing its legal, regulatory, and administrative capacity to take appropriate regulatory actions in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and the EU.
The duration of the project is 18 months, starting from 10 January 2025. However, depending on the circumstances, the duration of the project may be extended, shortened, or temporarily suspended.
