With the aim of strengthening cooperation in the field of cybersecurity and countering cyber threats, the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting concluded a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

The document was signed by Olha Herasymiuk, Chair of the National Council, and Volodymyr Karastelov, Acting Head of the SSU Department for Counterintelligence Protection of State Information Security Interests.

The Memorandum provides for the joint efforts of the Parties to strengthen the cybersecurity of the National Council’s information and communication infrastructure, ensure timely detection and response to cyber incidents, as well as prevent the implementation of cyber threats.

Among the main areas of cooperation are monitoring and analysis of information security events, implementation of technological solutions for collecting and processing telemetry, conducting joint testing and practical cybersecurity activities.
